Dear Parents:
It seems like only yesterday that I welcomed you back to school and soon it will be time to come to the close of the school year. The month of May is full of activities. Our eighth graders will be Confirmed, the crowning of the Virgin Mary, and there will be the end of the year celebrations as well as graduations. I would like to thank the teachers for the ongoing faith formation imparted to our students through out the year, and for making it a successful and productive academic school year. Thank you to all of the parents for their support and love.
Congratulations
We would like to congratulate our second graders who received the Eucharist for the first time on Saturday, April 25th. It was a beautiful ceremony. Our appreciation to Mrs. Alfaras and Mrs. Zahoran , who helped made this day so memorable in the life of these students.
Accreditation
I am pleased to report that the visitation team for Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish/School will be visiting our campus to review our School Improvement Plan from May 13th thru May 15th. We welcome Mr. Christopher Wiand, Ms. Rebecca Mates, and Ms. Rita Kissel , and wish them a rewarding visitation experience. We ask the parents to keep the visitation team, administration, faculty and staff in your prayers .
Confirmation
On Monday, May 11th, Auxiliary Bishop John G. Noonan will preside over the Confirmation Mass. We ask the Holy Spirit to send forth its Spirit and to fill the hearts of our students.
With Appreciation
I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to the following individuals who have made such a difference in our school life this year:
-Our Pastor, Father Luis Perez, for guiding our parents, our faculty and staff, and our students in our continued faith formation.
-Our Faculty and Staff, for their continued commitment to our students and to Catholic education.
- Our Home and School Board, for helping us with the so many activities, and our fundraisings.
-Our Parents, for their unwavering support
-And last but not least, to our students, because without them we would not be able to share our gift and hopes for the future.
May God bless you and reward you for your continued involvement, cooperation and support, and may you have a blessed and restful summer.
