DEAR HOLY ROSARY FAMILIES,

As Our Lady of the Holy Rosary continues to celebrate its Golden Anniversary, the Parish will be hosting two morning reflections for all parents to attend. Please join us for these inspirational reflections as we continue to rejoice in our 50 years as a community. If you plan to attend the Parent/Ministers Reflection, please inform the school office by Wednesday, November 19, 2008 and if you plan to attend the Advent Reflection, please inform the school office by Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Also, there will be free daycare available, however, please call the school office to register your child(ren) for this service.

Parents will receive 3 angel hours each for attendance at each reflection.

The 2008 Turkey Bowl Flag Football Game between 8A & 8B will be held on Wednesday November 26, 2008.

ATTENTION PARENTS/VOLUNTEERS

The Archdiocese of Miami Safe Environment Policy

The Safe Environment Policy requires all volunteers to be fingerprinted and to complete the Virtus training of the Protecting God’s Children program.

Please note that volunteers will not be permitted to attend any fieldtrips, volunteer coaching, or be involved in any other activity with the students without being fingerprinted and completing the Virtus Training.

Fingerprints
Volunteers need to be fingerprinted every 5 years. To obtain your fingerprints go to the website www.adom.sofn.net, obtain a Bar Code receipt, which is generated online, schedule an appointment at the appropriate Service Center, and take the printed Bar Code receipt along with the Photo ID used during registration to the Service Center, which are listed on the website, for the actual fingerprint process to take place. The fingerprinting results will be provided to the Archdiocese with 48 hours via the Archdiocese Background Check Department and forwarded to our school.

IT’S DIRECTORY TIME!

As part of the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, plans are being made for publishing of a new pictorial directory. The directory will be published in October 2009.

We invite you to be a part of this historic event for our church
by joining a committee to be formed for this project. Please call the office.
The first photography dates are Nov. 11th through Nov. 15th.
