Our Lady of the Holy Rosary

Here we are at the end of another school year. Let me THANK all the wonderful parents and teachers who have volunteered throughout the year to make the Home and School Association Activities fun and successful!

The first two weeks of April the Home and School Association accepted nominations for two newly created positions and two current positions that were up for reelection. The positions were filled by single nomination thus making it unnecessary to hold formal elections. I want to welcome two new board members, Christy Garcia and Jeanne Sherwood to the board. Christy was nominated to the newly created Volunteer Coordinator position and Jeanne was nominated as one member of the Hospitality Team. Lisa Sheesley was re nominated as a member of the Hospitality Team and Chris Becerra was nominated for the newly created Communications position. I want to thank all those who took the time to nominate these talented parents for the board positions and I look forward to working with the board for the 2009-2010 school year!

Please join me this Wednesday, May 6, 2009 for the last Home and School Association meeting of the year. At the meeting we will be discussing end of the year activities. Dr. Ventura will also be there to update the enrollment progress as well as Mrs. Necuze to give us a final report on the Accreditation process. At the end of the meeting we will be raffling off the new PE t-shirts and socks from AA Uniform. I look forward to seeing you there!
