We have finally been given approval and certified as VPK providers for the summer of 2008. Voluntary Pre-K is a state run program that was created to provide our children the tools to be successful in Kindergarten. The studies that have been conducted regarding VPK show that children who attend VPK tend to be more successful in school even beyond Kindergarten! Our Lady of the Holy Rosary is proud to be able to offer this program to your children and will continue to seek out programs to enhance and expand your child’s educational experience.
Voluntary Pre-K is for children who will be entering Kindergarten in the fall. These children will have had to turn 4 prior to September 1, 2007. To be able to register your child in this summers VPK program, you must follow the two-step process below. Registration begins on April 28th at your local government sites. See Miami-Dade County Sites below.
How to Register:
School-Year VPK Registration is a two-step process.
:: Step 1 – Visit a registration site to complete an application with photocopies of the following documentation:

Our VPK class will be taught by certified teachers from June 9th to July 30th. The hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be one holiday where we celebrate the 4th of July. Attendance is extremely important for VPK and we strongly urge you to consider that prior to enrolling your child.
